Responses of biotic communities

Biotic community response to nature refers to origin, growth, development, reproduction and extension and adjustment activities of living world.

Adjustment continuous and succession of biotic species in the constant change
of physical environment is biotic responses.

1.       Morphological adaptation
Morphological adaptation is the evolutionary process to make fit the living organism with surrounding environment by changing their body structure for their existence.

Types

·         Divergent evolution (adaptive radiation)
·         Convergent evolution (adaptive convergence)
·         Progressive evolution
·         Retrogressive evolution
·         Parallel evolution

So the environment use and disuse organs cause the variations in biological communities. These variations are inherited by their off-springs.

2.       Physiological adjustment
Physiological adjustment considers the function of each any every parts of an organisms to survive in the given environment. Clearly, it denotes the activities of different organs of living organisms in their interactions with environmental factors.

It can also divided in to three groups
1.       Metabolism
2.       Reproduction
3.       Development
a.       Directive response
b.      Controlling response
c.       Deficient response

3.       Behavioral pattern/responses
Its elements are given below
1.       Thermo temperature
2.       Light photo
3.       Geo-gravity
4.       Hydro-moisture
5.       Chemical
6.       Thingmo-contact
7.       Baro-pressure
8.       Rheo-pressure
9.       Galvano-electricity

4.       Community relation
